Precious Pets' Adoptable Cats
All of our available pets are now on Petfinder. To view their profiles and pictures, click here.
All of our cats and dogs are spayed or neutered, micro-chipped with an Avid I.D., de-wormed, de-flead, up to date on shots and treated for ear mites. They also receive any additional necessary medical care. Cats are tested for FIV/Leukemia. Dogs are Heartworm tested.
Our modest adoption fee for cats is $100.00 except for specialty breeds which are $150.00. Please understand that the higher adoption fee for certain purebred animals allows us to rescue more animals and it is still much, much less than what you would pay a breeder or pet store!
PPAH reserves the right to approve or decline any adoption applications that do not meet the organization's adoption criteria, as determined in its sole discretion.
Sheba is a chocolate point Siamese and is
estimated to be 13 to 16-year-old.
Sheba loves company and lounging on the couch. She's quite talkative.
Although she is older, her health is good. We just did a senior blood panel
with urinalysis and all of her levels are normal. She may have some arthritis
issues but we have begun giving her joint supplements and hope that will help
her move around like a young cat. Sheba seems to be fine with other cats, but
has not been dog tested. She would probably be fine with an older, very low-key
dog. We don't know why Sheba has those cute little curled up ears. Based on
experience, she likely suffered chronic ear infections over the course of her
life. Thankfully, now she is completely vetted and in no pain or discomfort.
If you get our paper newsletter, you might
have heard that Sheba was about ready to head off to her forever home before
Christmas. Unfortunately for Sheba, that adoption fell through do to a job
offer in another state that the applicant could not pass up. So, Sheba is still
in the market for a forever home. Please help us give Sheba a second chance at
a great life by welcoming this senior girl into your home.
